#4: Take time OFF to be more ON.
As a small business owner, it’s easy to fall into the trap of working all the time. Let’s face it. There’s ALWAYS something you could be working on, and there’s NEVER a shortage of things on your to-do list.
But it’s important to give your mind a break from business, not only to avoid burnout, but to help you perform better on a daily basis. When you don’t get enough time off, your creativity will wither, you won’t be as productive, and you’re likely to feel more stressed. (I know I do!)
Taking time off is a wonderful way to hit the reset button. I challenge you to be intentional about taking time off and making time for FUN, whether it’s a nature walk at lunchtime, catching a movie with a friend, or spending time on a fun creative (non-business) project. Your brain, and your business, will thank you.
How are you going to take a break this week?
